Please bring back The Nabisco Royal Lunch Milk Cracker

My grandfather died when he was 96 years old, twenty years ago. One of my favorite memories about him was sitting at the dining room table at his house on Sunday afternoons eating Royal Lunch Milk Crackers. Sometimes, when nothing else would sound appetizing, I would open my milk cracker, Nabisco box and dipped them in coffee. A good lunch for sure. Recently, I have been looking for the crackers, everywhere, grocery store, Walmart, convinience store and diiferent locations, but I couldn't find them. I found out through a blog that Nabisco is not making the crackers anymore. Needless to say, that I was bombed out. I also found out that these crackers had a lot of loyal custumers around the world. If Nabisco doesn't care about loyalty and their customers, then I would much rather buy product from a company that does. My goal here is to show Nabisco that the Royal Lunch Cracker was pleasing a lot of custumers, that bought this cracker for more than twenty years. Please start posting and I will make sure that Nabisco finds out about us.

Yes. It's quite sad. I've been searching for a recipe to no avail. In so doing, I found many, many people have been able to cook family recipes handed down through generations because they lack one key ingredient; Royal Lunch Milk Crackers.

I'm going to try to recreate the recipe in my copius free time (which isn't much.) I had an old box in the cupboard which lists the ingredients. After much searching I found a recipe for "Common Crackers" which is a start. Feel free to try your hand at cloning a Royal Lunch Milk Cracker recipe for yourself. Let me know how successful you are.

BTW I think Nabisco, Ritz, Kraft and all participants of the parent company did a huge disservice to their loyal customers when they discontinued the Royal Lunch Milk Cracker. There are plenty of products that are seasonal; I.E. they only appear for two months around Thanksgiving/Christmas. They could have done this with the RLMC too so people could at least make their turkey stuffing.

I just sent this note Kraft foods. If you are on FB there is a group.

My cousins, siblings, parents and aunts and uncles where together recently. We were talking about our beloved and deceased family matriarch my great grandmother Rosa Kinner. We all spent decades at grandma's house eating Royal Lunch Milk Crackers. I went on a mission for my family and my own children to find some Royal Lunch Milk Crackers to continue our family tradition. Filed with love and found memories I had planned to buy a case or two share with my children, nieces and nephew's and to send to my family members. I was a extremely disappointed to find that I could no longer buy this beloved family tradition to share with my family. I found the following Facebook group and another group of people who feel the same sense of loss. Please bring back Royal Lunch Milk Crackers to continue a time honored family tradition for many families.http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid60387376392#!/group.php?gid=60387376392&ref=mf
